The Carci Reagent ® test uses a simple chemical reaction that allows you to determine within a few minutes whether an increased amount of tyrosine metabolites is present in your urine.

How does Carci Reagent ® work?

• Detects monohydroxyphenolic metabolites (tyrosine) – substances whose levels may be elevated in certain metabolic disorders
• Uses a chromogenic reaction that colors the sample according to the amount of tyrosine present
• Provides results on a scale of 8 color levels (0–2000 mg/l)
• Completed within 5 minutes
• High test reliability confirmed by study results on more than 8,000 patients
